The Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Prevention of Underage Drinking (ICCPUD) provides comprehensive information on research and resources related to the prevention of underage drinking. The ICCPUD is comprised of numerous federal departments including the Departments of Defense, Education, Health and Human Services, Justice, Transportation and the Treasure, as well as the Office of National Drug Control Policy and the Federal Trade Commission. National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (http://www.niaaa.nih.gov/)

The National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) is the largest funder in the
world of alcohol-related research and is one of 27 institutes and centers that comprise the National Institute of Health. The NIAAA funds a variety of alcohol-related research grants (http://www.niaaa.nih.gov/grant-funding/funding-opportunities) as well as conducts research within their institute.

Department of Children and Families - Substance Abuse Program Office Prevention Team(http://www.dcf.state.fl.us/programs/samh/SubstanceAbuse/prevention.shtml)

The Substance Abuse Program Office Prevention Team is part of the Florida Department of Children and Families. The Substance Abuse Program Office Prevention Team gathers and disseminates information, builds community and state capacity through collaboration as well as manages resources to assist in the prevention of substance abuse within the State of Florida. They provide funding for Prevention Partnership Grants (http://www.dcf.state.fl.us/programs/samh/SubstanceAbuse/docs/PPGApplication2012Word_Document_5-30-2012.docx), every three years. These Prevention Partnership Grants fund community-level substance abuse prevention programs and strategies to impact underage drinking.
